If there was ever a time when chick rock was at its best, it's most definitely now.

The style is pure rock with a little Shania Twain sassiness to it. Her voice is incredibly powerful, with a good vocal range and is a joy to listen to. When you've listened to the whole album in one go, you really feel that there was thought behind it and that it wasn't just a manufactured package. In this way it shows her capacity as both a songwriter as well as a singer and that is commendable.

The tempo of the whole album is really varied and there is a good mix between slower thought provoking tracks to the real gritty power rock numbers. My favourites amongst all 12 tracks are 'Overkill' (which really makes a statement and also has an Avril Lavigne likeness to it) and 'Lucky Escape' (has real atmosphere to it and unlike 'Overkill' it demonstrates the smokier tones of her voice, with a slower vibe). The whole album is fantastic and it's an album that I'd recommend if you want to invest in a good female artist.

I bought this cd a little over a year ago, but I still listen to it. It's one of my favorite cds. Sinead has a very pretty voice, and her songs cover various topics, many of which are universally relatable to. My personal favorite songs from the CD are: I Can't Break Down, Don't Tell Me, and Love Me All the Way.
Overall, you should definitely buy this, it's a cd well worth the money.
