The quality and quantity of pictures is great. they aren't too small to see if you are an artist, but maybe a little if you are planning of cutting them out like the book suggests. again the quality is great, they are much better than many of the free heraldry type images you find on the internet. i recommend it, along with anything else dover seems to put out. I got one of their other books and it was great, plan to buy more

A great book filled with wonderful art. I haven't seen such clear and clean art giving samples of so many classic designs. I have been hired to design a logo with the romance and authentic look of the early Heraldic designs. This book has been very very helpful.
