A conscious and aware song with a hardcore delivery. Many are driven away from socially-conscious rap because they feel its too preachy but this is definitely not one of those songs. For anyone that likes a hard beat & delivery mixed with an actual subject topic.

I especially love the 1st verse and how Killer Mike examines hip hop culture and how most of it sells a fantasy life to children and that sometimes we are our own worse enemy. It reminds me a lot of early Ice Cube after NWA. The song easily stands up with many of my favorite Lupe Fiasco and Talib Kweli songs.

Killer Mike goes off about abuses of government power. He questions what the government really stands for and calls them out for lies they tell. He pulls no punches, naming every president, regardless of party, all the way back to Reagan as corrupt.
