This review is from: Real Blues Guitar (Sheet music)
This is the best book I've found for introducing the blues from beginning to a relatively high level. The examples and the CD are really good. I've been playing a long time and am pretty decent. A lot of books I find are either for beginners who care very little about anything or the authors aren't clever about how to present their method. Neither is true for this book. I was an advanced player starting the book and it helped me feel confident playing blues. I think a beginner might do well with this if they took time to go through each section and, perhaps, had a more experienced player or teacher to help guide them. This is definitely my favorite guitar book. Wish there were more like this for other styles.
