3.0 out of 5 stars Real Bout High School Review., July 28, 2009
This review is from: Real Bout High School (Boxset) - Samurai Girl (DVD)
This show's plot is very hard to describe. Not because it's complicated but simply because if I give too much info then I'll have told you about most of the episodes.

The show is about girl name Ryoko aka the Samurai Girl. She goes to as school where martial arts are basically encoraged. The school lets students decale challenges to one another and they fight in what the show calls a K-Fight. The school engorges these fights show much that whenever a fight happens there is a crowd with the school's Principal as one of the commentaries. One day after school Ryoko finds herself transported to an alternate dimension where she is stuck there for a couple of minutes till she finds and defeats a creature. She then finds herself transported back home back on the same day but at a later time. The series then goes forward with this and Ryoko tries to find out what's going on and discovers more mysteries along the way. It's a great show to watch but the one thing that I don't like about the series is that it only has 13 episodes and you truly can't put all the pieces together until the last episode. And even then loose ends aren't tied up. This show could've easily been thirty episodes instead of 13. I gave this show a 3 star rating because of the action held in it. To be blunt if you want to buy this series, I sugguest you go to some website and watch all 13 episodes. After that, then you can decide weather it's good enough to by or not. Trust me, if I'd done the same thing then I wouldn't have it in my anime collection.
