This review is from: The Real Deal For Women: Buying Cars (Paperback)
This is an excellent book for anyone who wants to learn about the fine art of buying a car, or any kind of motorized vehicle. It is written in a very straight forward way that is very easy to read and very easy to reference. I'd say that while the book is definitely tailored for women, there is a tremendous value for men too. And, in my opinion, everyone under 30 years old or anyone who has never bought a car on their own before.Even though I grew up with this great information readily available to me, I still found that I'd made some real blunders on my last two vehicle purchases. For example, the author covers the emotional tactics used by dealerships and sales people to push you to an emotional car buying experience. Now that I've read the book I can say I won't be pulled into that trap again. One really important thing to consider is that despite decades of haggling for better prices and stressful car buying experiences, very few of us have learned how to avoid the same pitfalls that our parents and friends make. Perhaps its because the experiences are usually so stressful that we don't take the time to evaluate out experience after the fact and teach others about it. This book will has helped me, and it will help you too!
