When Ellen came out on her show, she made history. And though she may have been cancelled, this excellent documentary takes us through the journey that Ellen went through before, during, and after that famous episode. Its touching, funny, and a video worth owning.

It's an amazing way to understand how things work in the world of television. Ellen DeGeneres took all the risks and they made a lot of money with her and her ability to attract people. She deserved a better treatment and this video shows how intelligent she is while ABC and Disney shows their cowardness.

I still think the Puppy Episode is the most enlightening and hilarious piece of TV I have ever seen, and I was intrigued with the process of how this brilliant episode of "Ellen" came to be. Oh, the bureaucracy! I was also intrigued with the way Ellen and Anne handled the unjustified rejection from ABC and Anne's ex-management. What brave women. This documentary is insightful, heart-warming, educational, and humorous. I knew Ellen had the jokes, but I never knew Anne was so funny. I have a whole new respect for Ellen (and Anne). They deserve all the credit they get, and none of the criticism.
