I'm having trouble getting useful information out of this book. It is not very well written, organized or edited. I'm sure Hilda is familiar with the subject matter; however, others have written much better books on the subject of real estate.

"Remember that having a bad tenant is far worse than having no tenant at all! The house is better being empty for a month, rather than having it destroyed or neglected by a bad tenant"! is one of the many helpful hints form Hilda that can be found throughout "Real Estate 101 Buying - Real Estate 102 Renting".

This friendly and easy to read book has chapters everyone can learn from...ranging from "Buying A House", "Finding A Good Tenant Problems." Each chapter has suggestions that can be immediately applied for quick results.

The author, Hilda Giron Erfe has a gusty style and an acute business acumen that has earned her recognition in a wide variety of business environments and has made a wealthy woman.

Hilda writes from the position of a successful entrepreneur. She believes if she can do it, so can others. This book covers her experiences over the past 20 years in buying and renting houses. She also frankly discusses how she has learned from her mistakes and how she went from putting a small down payment on her first house to managing over a million dollars worth of properties.

Please remember, real estate is the primary way to accrue wealth in America. READERS ARE CERTAIN TO BE INTERESTED!

I got this book from the library so I'm glad I didn't waste any money on it. The author seems like a well-intentioned and nice individual, but this book was useless. There was no organization or flow. The author would go off on tangents and give too many pointless details that have nothing to do with buying or renting a home. I got nothing out of this book.

If you have ever thought about getting involved in Real Estate Investment - First Read This Book! The book is a "How-to" and give you a foundation of all you need to know before starting your real estate investment. "Real Estate 101 - Buying Real Estate 102 - Renting" is full of example that successful help you understand how things work with real estate. I found the book very easy to read, useful as well pretty relaxed. The book definitely was worth time and money !!!!
