Although this exam prep book purports to prepare students for all levels of testing, the practice questions on commercial real estate appraisal fall short. The questions - and answers, at least one of which was factually wrong - belie a lack of comprehension of the field. As an instructor I did not find this book useful, at least for my commercial real estate appraisal students.

This book is moderately useful but in retrospect I wish I had taken the class. I passed my exam, but I believe only by the skin of my teeth, and during the exam really felt like my preparation had been inadequate.

As a appraiser looking to take the state examination, I found that this book is a great help in reviewing for said examination. I recommend this title to anyone preparing to take the appraiser certification examination.

I purchased this book before taking the Real Estate Appraiser Test- the practice exams really helped! Definitely worth it- great study book!

This book has the new Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB) changes for 2008. This Appraiser's Exam Prep book has a fairly comprehensive appraisal review, including a math chapter, and a 500 term glossary. To help your study, after each exam there is a table or chart that shows each question by number and the appraisal category that it came from. This way you can find out what areas that you need to review the most, and what areas that you have mastered. This book has four complete practice exams.
