A much sought after text. Not designed for the mainstream audience. A Novice might be better served with a more fundamental book.

The appraisal of commercial real estate properties in Britain has different terminology to that used in the US. This book is written by a group of academics with significant market experience, but from a British perspective.
It is a useful text book for US real estate professionals interested in the British commercial real estate market - where the triple net leases can be for 25 years. It explores and explains the different methodologies used in the UK for real estate valuations and Discounted Cash Flow appraisals, and looks at real estate from both a single asset and in a portfolio perspective (with and without leverage). It is worth noting that the book was first published in 2006.
