One of the only books on real estate that is still going strong...after 20 years.I found the 60 internet websites on taxes and real estate...to be worth the price of the book. It is up to the minute.

BOOKSHELF REVIEW by Robert Bruss, syndicated real estate columnist.It has been at least 15 years since I rviewed the first edition...for novice home buyers and investors. It is different than any other book - but it works...clarifies hazy concepts...internal rate of return, cash flow and capitalization rate.Fifteen years ago, I said "Reading this book can save you dozens of hours taking real estate courses or learning by making mistakes. Maloney has written a book which lives up to the promise of its title." These words are still true...it's a fun read...The book is filled with interesting drawings...that illustrate the realty topics...using visual...rather than rambling text.
