Margaret Rome tells it like it REALLY is in real estate...this book is timeless in that it gives insight to those who have been in the industry as well as some refresher information. For those who have just started or are thinking of a career in real estate, Margaret is the best example of straight forward talk in an easily understandable and practical, conversational tone. She knows...she has been there....and if you look in Baltimore...you will know she IS there...read it, enjoy it, use it as a refresher or a beginning...you'll be glad you did !

Today I have received the new and highly talked about book by Margarat Rome called--REAL ESTATE THE ROME WAY.

Before I ordered the book I went and looked at her AR page, to see her blog posts, points etc.. . I have found alot of good posts by her. She seemed very knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of real estate. So I was impressed and ordered the book.

I cant put the book down. This book is ALL informative and professional, there is no filler BS in it. This book is for everyone; the beginner, and the seasoned pro.

THIS SHOULD BE A MUST READ TO START OF 2009

Real Estate the Rome Way has everything you need to know as a real estate professional. The beginning-- not just the beginning of your real estate career but the beginning of " change" in your already established career. Dealing with todays Sellers and Buyers. The listing presentation ( which everyone should read because I dont care how successful you are, you can always see a different approach to the listing presentation and get a new idea or look at making a slight change here and there that can take you to the next level.) There is the Branding of yourself called Brand Building 101, and you all know that people cant buy what they dont know is out there, so we as real estate commission salespersons have to get our name out there. The more you are out there in the public eye, the more you will make , its that simple ( you cant be a secret agent). My example I like to use is; Whats brings more business, 100 people knowing and trusting your name, or 1000 people knowing and trusting your name. There is a part that I am big on, its the " Tech Top Tools" which is what we all HAVE to have in todays real estate world.

I would really like to get feedback on to what all of you that bought the book think?

If you didnt get the book I highly recommend it. This book is not a "system" or "formula" book of outdated information. This is true experience that comes from the "real deal".

I may not be in "Real Estate Sales" but the information in this book is timeless and crosses many industries. I highly recommend this book to anyone involved in Real Estate but also to anyone who is involved in consumer marketing and sales. The stories and examples used to highlight the points make everything seem so easy and attainable. You will highlight sections to reread again and again.

I am not a real estate agent, but I am always anxious to learn more about marketing. This is THE book for anyone who wants to learn the newest, most effective marketing approaches. The books is not only immensely informative but also a really good read. This is philosophy at its most readable and useable.
