The kids can't stop playing with it--and grandma wants one too!
Santa brought this for my 18 month old son who is puppy-obsessed. I was concerned that this would be one of those for which the novelty quickly wears off, but several months after Christmas, my son and his older sister (7 years) both still enjoy this puppy. It doesn't do a whole lot--tugs and barks and gets progressively more excited when you pull the rope, and then calms...

Cute Little Doggie
Well, it is cute. But that's about all. How long did my daughter play with it? About 5 minutes on christmas morning. You pull the rope and it makes sounds and tugs back. Has she played with it since? Nope. It is just another item in the "I don't play with it" toy heap. I really do have to get these toys under control!

Santa brought this for my 18 month old son who is puppy-obsessed. I was concerned that this would be one of those for which the novelty quickly wears off, but several months after Christmas, my son and his older sister (7 years) both still enjoy this puppy. It doesn't do a whole lot--tugs and barks and gets progressively more excited when you pull the rope, and then calms down and falls asleep when you stroke his back. But the variety of sound and movement seems to be fun for the kids, and their grandma sat playing with it for a couple of hours during her soap operas as well. I think Santa might need to bring her one next year.

My 5 year old loves it! The more you play with the dog the more excited it gets. You must pet her and leave her alone to calm her. This is a big hit at our house.
