I just recently bought the Real Ghost Stories DVD. I found the DVD to my liking not overly scary but entertaining nonetheless.
I think the program is well done and does a pretty good job at
attempting to examine Ghost. I have bought many VHS's and DVDs on Amazon about Ghost or the Supernatural. Real Ghost Stories is not the best program I have saw on Ghost or Things that go bump in the night nor is it the worst. I give Real Ghost Stories a 4 out of a 5 rating. And frankly for the price of the three disk set you can't go wrong either.

This movie was interesting , but if you are looking to be entertained and frightened you will be dissapointed.I am vary interested in the paranormal so I thought it was ok and for the price it was good.

Well I am an Unsolved Mysteries fan so I guess this was just disappointing compared to that. There were some good stories but overall it was just very slow and generic. The host is very boring and old. These videos were made very cheap and they try to make it scarier than it is. If you want something to sit back and keep you entertained this may not be the video but if your interested in ghosts and stories about them you should check it out.

I thought it was great for the price! I enjoyed each story. Kept my family and I at the edge of our seats.

Why buy this collection?...you should not really waste your time nor money to buy this. You are better off buying Ghost Stories collection which is pretty much the same thing. I guess they put this together for a lower cheaper price. Good DVD...but, your better off just saving your money and buying the whole DVD collection of Ghost Stories. Ok if your just a collector...but, not great.

My sister had given me this DVD set several years ago, but I loaned it out and never got it back. I was very disappointed, so I was very happy to find it on Amazon. I ordered a new set and watch it every chance I get.
It is a very interesting documentary about ghosts and hauntings, several based in England. I'm a Patrick Macnee fan and I think he's wonderful in this series.

Good, corny fun of a magnitude similar to that of Edward Mulhare's timeless classic, "Secrets and Mysteries", only this time, the distinguished English host is Patrick Macnee, who does a great job hosting these somewhat silly, low-budget ghost stories.
The "special" effects and goofy synth music and noises just aid in the good serving of cheesy fun that these episodes provide.
A few times, the investigations are so simplistic and dry, you can't help but watch the video, furrow your eyebrows and go, "what?"
But who cares! Are you really watching these for informative information, or are you just looking for a quantum of cheesiness?

Ok...I'm kinda dorky and like unusual stuff. This is one of those rare cases where I really enjoyed what I purchased. It's not the best by any means...but it was entertaining and there are many stories that were interesting. Not overly scary but that is good if you have kids. I liked this better then the "Ghosts and the paranormal" set I purchased recently because it has a lot of ghost stories. There are even a few people that make me laugh. Some of the interviews are just funny. In particular the woman named Elizabeth on the first disc. She REALLY made me laugh!!! So if your looking for cheesy, fun and sometimes over-the-top entertainment...this is for you!!!

Kids running around in a school being afraid of ghost and one talking cat what a good anime

This set was disappointing I bought it from Ebay the announcer is very annoying what is it with the british accents I can't stand them.The stories were not well dramatized I was quite bored with the whole set this is the second DVD set I bought and both turned out very aweful.Dont waste your money on this set or Hostile Hauntings it sucks very bad!!!! beware of this DVD set!
