A Dancey Album from one of the most unheard singers,

Jaki Graham best known for her only 80's hit Set Me Free sure proves her stuff with her 1994 release Real Life. From the pop tinged track You Can Count on Me For Love and the neat version of Rufus's hit Ain't Nobody Jaki sticks to dance the way it has to be. The wonderful Through Your Eyes is a tender ballad that was written by ex Doobie Brother Michael Mcdonald. Jaki also has the markings of a female Rick Astley as she shows on the only single Breaking Away. There is also the fun Shivers and the remake of Joyce Sims Come Into My Life. One of the reasons this album failed in the US is that at it's time of release Critque Records possibly went broke because you don't hear about this strange record label. But other than that a Dancey simply Dancey Album,Enjoy, Regis |
