I have bought many books for playing Jazz on Sax, but this one is by far the best!! Many fun-to-learn songs. You can't turn even 5 pages without finding a song you would like to try out!
I reccommend this book to all Beggining, Intermediate AND advanced players. For the begginers, though, don't expect to be able to play every song in this book right away, but it's still worth buying.

LITTLE PRACTICE BEFORE YOU BECOME THE LIKES OF YARDBIRD, BUT ITS
FUN TRYING.

As a jazz musician, you will be called upon to play the jazz standards in this book. The musicians we respect and try to immulate, such as Charlie Parker and John Coltrane, have based many of their songs on these jazz standard. If you play the alto and/or baritone saxophone this is the book for you.
