This is an absolutely phenomenal book! I recommend it to all teenagers and young adults. It clears up many minconceptions about dating, marriage, and sex. It gives clear answers to questions about love and sex, contraception and pregnancy, AIDS STDs and "Safe Sex", sex and emotion, chastity sex and marriage, finding real love, healing the hurt, how far is too far?, etc. A wonderful book!

Good answers to everyday situations, not only for teenagers but for any adult interested in understanding the Catholic Church's view on love and sex.

Whether you are a teen, adult, married or single, there is so much in this book for you.
Mary Beth Bonacci does a superb job answering questions regarding love, dating, flirting, living together, guilt, healing the hurt, forgiveness, sexual attractions, healthy relationships, holding out for the right person, knowing when you've met the right marriage partner, living the single life, fear of loving or being loved, staying married, and more. All topics are handeled in the context of authentic Catholic moral teaching.
Mary Beth explains the reason for her book by ending with Christ's words to his disciples, "You live in My love when you keep My Father's commandments and live in His love. I tell you this that My joy may be your joy, and that your joy may be complete" (Jn 15:9).
This book is so complete and valuable for anyone who wants to find true joy in their relationships and in life.

As a teenager growing up in the Catholic Church, I knew I wanted to save sex for marriage, but I didn't really have a good reason for doing so besides, "the church says so." Mary Beth Bonacci explains the excellent practice of Chastity in her book, telling all about how to live Chastity, what it is, and Why we should live Chastity. Not only that, but she also answers dating and marriage questions. This book helped me to find answers to so many of the questions I was asking, and helped me to realize there were some impure things in my life I needed to stop, or change. If you want to know why the Catholic Church says to save sex for marriage, and get some tips on living Chastity, READ THIS BOOK!

I owned this book for a couple of years before actually reading it. I didn't want to bother with the silly nonsense but after the ending of a unhealthy five year relationship I opened it up and read it. It touches the heart and helps to heal the pain and covers just about everything associated with sex and relationships, no matter the age. This book talks directly to you and is never condescending. At times it seemed as if it was written precisely for me. I am rereading it again for the second time...another relationship has ended and once again I have found reprieve within its pages. I recommend it to men and women of any age in a relationship or not.

I met Mary Beth at a Catholic Youth confrence in atlanta, where she was a speaker. her session was so interesting and helpful that i ran out and bought her book. it answers any question you would have and it was very helpful. unlike most of the other books out on love and sex, mary beth's book gives the catholic viewpoint of love and sex. i have passed it around to many of my friends who have also read it and they all were very pleased. you should but it..trust me, its good!

TOday October 7, 2000, Mary Beth Bonacci came to Erie PA to LifeJam, and gave the best explaniation of everything, and the one thing she said was you will forget something i have said today, so she told us about her book, so i got one and i love it so much, its so awesome just to pick the book up anytime you want to read something you are not sure about.. SHe Rocks and i love her more than Pizza love.

This is one of the most awesome books I have ever read. I teach a Catholic Youth Group-high schoolers, and have been reading the book to them. I can't just tell them what it says because very word is so great. I think every single person in America should read this book. There is so much truth in it. Even though it was written 10 years ago, everything she says is still relevant today. Everyone deserves to know the TRUTH about sex and dating. She talks in a language that is so respectful and loving, never judging. I wish I could have had this information when I was in high school and dating. Even though I have been married over 25 years, it helps me to see what went on when I was dating. This is a book about REAL love, the love we all want and need in life.

Every teenager in America needs to read this truthful account of what love and sex is really about.

Finally someone wrote a book to help a single Catholic venture through the life of dating in a world full of immorality and people seeking immediate pleasure with no thought on the future or impact of their actions. I have been on a huge journey since the breakup of my most serious relationship. Your book helped me realize and understand how to truly date as a Catholic. For a long time I did things because I "was supposed" to follow the rules of the church... but you helped me see them as so much more than rules. Thanks for helping me heal, helping me to see that God has a great plan for my life and my future partner. This book is for anyone, any age who wishes to understand Catholic views that so often aren't discussed in such a way as this one. Thanks!!!
