This CD has some legitimate hard-to-find tracks by many artists. The most interesting of which is obviously "Christmas Song" by Weezer, from the deleted, OOP (Out-of-Print) Christmas CD they released. The other song from that CD is found on the CD single of "Photograph", but this is the better of the two. The other real song of note on here is "Santa's Creepy Secret" by Orgy, unavailable anywhere else at this time and very cool. There are some other unreleased tracks of note worth listening to on here also. But since there are lots of throwaway stuff (mostly stupid skit tracks made by the radio station KROQ), I have made it easy for you and put a star (*) next to the tracks that are worth listening to. From this, you should determine whether or not this CD is worth buying for yourself. Enjoy. And don't say this review is not helpful and be a jerk. It takes a lot to do the first complete track listing for these unlisted CDs.

3.0 out of 5 stars May I have your attention please?, December 23, 2006

This review is from: The Real Slim Santa (Audio CD)
This was the 2000 release of L.A. based radio station KROQ's annual Christmas CD. It is a mixture of Christmas songs and comedy skits. It is somewhat more uneven than usual. The comedy bits are funny for the most part. I especially like "Santa Claus: Behind the Magic", "Batman: The Lost Christmas Episode", "Shaq the Halls" and two Santa Claus related Eminem parodies. As for the songs, there are some good ones, but there are also a few bad ones. Either way, some of the songs are unavailable elsewhere, so if you want them you'll have to get this CD.
