Our instructor required this book for my English class, but I would highly recommend it for anyone wishing to improve their writing skills whether for school, employment, or any other reason that would require anything more than an informal correspondence. The author writes the details in a clear, easy-to-understand format. The practical exercises in each section help one understand the concept the chapter is explaining. There are practice tests with some chapters and the correct answers can be found in the back of the book, to check if you're correct. I think this book will be of use to me long after the class is finished!

out of date, most colleges dont use this text and wont buy it back, most sites as well, but if you need it i bet the prices here are reasonable

When I ordered Real Writing by Susan Anker, I forgot to check to make sure that it included the readings, which was my fault. However, I am making it work for the student to whom I am lending it this semester.
The delivery was fast and that was very important.
The book is in excellent condition and that was also a plus factor.

I bought this book for my mother who was taking english in night school. She said that it was very easy to use and that the information was written in a very understandable manner.She rated it as a great book and recommends it to other students.

The book itself is in great condition. Although, I was not informed that this product was the TEACHER'S ADDITION. I am a student and needed the student book. I am extremely dissatisfied.

It was probably a good text book, and it was required for my class, but the WRONG book was sent to me, SO I guess I will never know. Thanks Amazon!

Got the book it was used, but that is how I bought it, but just because it was used doesn't mean it was bad, the pages were all inside and not no one wrote on it, it was a solid book I would give this seller 2 thumbs up and if I had a third arm I would give them three
