Book Description

"Reality Check” provides an in-depth reminder of how deregulation and lax regulation derailed the economy, and puts forth arguments rarely heard in Congress or the media that regulations often exceed their public protection objections for a fraction of the expected costs.

This book was both a resource and a story. It would be helpful to anyone looking to understand the anti-regulatory tendencies which can undercut what we all value as Americans--our financial stability and security, our environment, our health and safety, and more. I strongly recommend "Reality Check," to scholars and historians alike.
