My boyfriend and I initially used male condoms, but had a couple incidences where a male condom slipped off during sex. We've switched to female condoms and since then there's been no slipping.

Once I had the FC2 inserted correctly, it was totally comfortable. I couldn't even feel it during sex - it felt like we were having sex without a condom. The nitrile material warms to your skin, thus it feels more natural than latex. The outer ring can stimulate a woman's clitoris, an added perk for women. My boyfriend commented that there is much more sensation for a man when using a female condom than when using a male condom.

FC2 has always stayed in place for us.

I don't know what people are talking about about a "crinkly sound". We have never experienced this. I should note that we also use a lot of good quality, silicone lube during sex, so maybe this extra lubrication helps.

I have to note, it definitely takes some practice to get the female condom inserted correctly. Thus, I highly recommend starting using FC2 while you are still on another contraceptive, such as the pill or IUD, or if not, then practicing on your own inserting and removing the FC2 before you try it out during sex.

Also, if you are the woman inserting it in yourself, you need to be very comfortable inserting something into your vagina and basically knowledgeable about what the inside of your vagina looks like - i.e. where your pubic bone is (if you insert your finger and make a "come here" beckoning motion towards the front wall of your vagina, you should feel the curvature of the pubic bone) and know where your cervix is (it feels like the tip of your nose when you're touching it)
The inner ring should be inserted past the pubic bone and cover the cervix.

I talked to my gynecologist about FC2 and she thought it was just as reliable as a male condom - she thought that the slightly higher failure rating is due to the fact that some women don't understand how to insert it correctly.

It takes some practice, but once you've used it a few times, it's totally easy and takes two seconds - and you can do it beforehand, so it doesn't have to interrupt the moment.

I should mention that I have never been pregnant, so I can't speak for how the product works for women who have already given birth.

I think this is an awesome product - I'm amazed more people haven't heard of it, considering how safe and effective it is? (maybe it would benefit from some sexier marketing) I hope FC2 become available in every drug store in America, same as male condoms.

After hearing about the female condom I thought I would give them a try. I found them to be great!!! And my boyfriend loved them. It takes a bit of practice to get them inserted correctly, but once in place the party begins. You want to be sure that the smaller ring (which is the side inserted into the vagina) opens up and is not folded. Note: Besure to use lubrication upon insertion of the penis. Though they come lubricated, a little extra makes all the difference.

These things are great!
They're slightly tricky to put in the first time or two (they're slippery on the outside and require some patience), but once you get some practice, all you have to do is slide it in, arrange the outer ring, lube up, and you're ready to go! I can't feel it at all once it's in there. It's not noisy at all, and he can't feel it.
It's nice to not have to worry about male condoms sliding off or breaking or ruining an erection.

When used for anal sex, these are a huge improvement over the previous version of the 'female' condom. They don't crinkle during sex; you can use any kind of lube you want; and the sensation for the top is much better than actually wearing a traditional male condom.

One piece of advice: if used for anal sex and the person topping is larger than the length of this condom (about 6.25"), do yourself a favor and remove the inner ring. Otherwise it's just going to cause discomfort for both of you.

Good price, great product. Would have been nice if it hadn't arrived 'Postage Due' from the merchant. Seriously, how tacky is that?

Great product and easy to use. Instructions easy to follow. I feel I'm responsible for my health and well being and not leaving it up to my partner.

I love them , I like how simple and fast you can put them on. The only bad part is the cost,I have sex (usually) 3 times a day and at $3 each time it starts to add up!

I started using these about 4 months ago. And my boyfriend at the time always said the male condoms were so uncomfortable so we tried these.

For me, sex was BETTER than with the male condom. It never was dry. And it came plenty lubricated. I found it easyish to insert and the ring on the outside rubbed against my clitoris and felt great! The only part that I didn't like was removing it because it was so moist but its probably the same way with male condoms.

For my boyfriend at the time, he thought it was awesome! He said it felt like we weren't even using one!

I honestly don't know why they don't sell these at more places because these are great. And many people review saying how hard it was to put in and to keep the man inside the condom. But I found it easy. I only needed to practice once. But I am also a Nuva Ring user, so it may have been easier because of that.

The idea is basic, but we found that they would not stay in place, no matter how far they were inserted or how the ring was angled. Perhaps for women who have not had 10+ lb babies vaginally it would work better I don't know. But I know for my husband and I- after a few minutes he would be the one wearing it instead of me.

Not effective.

We all know that friction causes a lot of sensitivity issues and infections for a woman, but these condoms make it a lot more comfortable since the latex is not rubbing into the woman's skin. Plus, the man does not have to feel as if he is wearing a condom. it is practical to be used with the withdrawal method, although I'm not sure that's recommended, it probably doesn't have to be replaced as often as the man's condom would, if there should be any interruptions in the moment .

trouble,now were good.from my view(boyfriend)use more lube,and yes it's
