Philosophical but simple; Simply but profound; spiiritual but not religious,
By Bob Lo (Pgh, PA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Reality of Man: Excerpts From The Writings Of Baha'u'llah And Abdu'l-Baha (Paperback)
Though written as excerpts from the Baha'i fundamental teachings, it is less about religion or this particular religion but more about spirituality. It is excellent for people of any religion especially if not sure about it's value. I would think it would be great for any minister dealing with less committed members or those who have no religious or spiritual aspects to their lives such as people trapped by drugs, crime, greed, etc.
To me, it primarily explained the need for that spiritual aspect by dealing with the nature of Man and God and existence. Deals with complex matters very simply so is an easy read. I suppose "deep-thinkers" will find it too shallow but I believe that is it's beauty; to capture complex issues in brief, easy to understand explantions.
