In this imaginative collection of really cool song covers, the Sugar Beats go all out for soul-sending hits of yesteryear as well as more obscure delights from bygone eras. Check out the soul artifacts: Jackie Wilson's "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher," Ray Charles's declarative "Hit the Road Jack," James Brown's "I Got You (I Feel Good)," and Bill Withers's "Lean on Me." Then there's the two "lost" tracks from the Beatles, convincing remakes of "Your Mother Should Know" and "All Together Now," the former a nostalgic tune from Yellow Submarine days. 21 Really Cool Songs by Sugar Beats is just that, really cool! My kids love the music and so do I. It's wonderful to have a CD that we all enjoy!

I discovered Sugar Beats 5 years ago and I've been recommending it to others since. I don't think there is anyone who doesn't like it. It's one CD you'll want to play even when the kids don't even ask you!!!! I own this and "Everybody is a star" and I plan to buy the rest!

Like the music and it really entertains my 4 1/2 year old daughter too. Wish the CD insert contained the lyrics for each song though. Otherwise, I highly recommend this CD
