I found this book in a library after taking an immersion class where I learned some but not enough. One problem was I didn't know how to ask what I didn't know. This book first gets past a lot of the grammar I had trouble with although its here. After the spanish it tells you what it is in English so I understand what's being said. My class didn't get to the past tense for 9 months, this covers it after 70 pages. Hard to talk not having a "used to or I did" in your vocabulary. I find this way of learning better for me but I can't guarantee it for everyone. Just makes sense.
