I don't know about this as an import item, but this cd is one of the all time greatest kids' albums. I grew up listening to it (and reading the books) and I can't wait to share it with my kids.

This CD brings back good memories of my own childhood. My children love the little books and now love the CD. It is impossible to find in stores and we love giving it as a gift to friends that hear it at our house and in our car. Year after year my kids have been exposed to one poem or another in school. The kids love that the songs rhyme and are easy to sing along to. The lesson learned in Pierre is one that they have really responded to well. I just cannot say enough great things about the CD (or Carole King's voice!). If you can actually order this CD you will be purchasing a treasure!

I bought this for my grandchildren as my children really enjoyed it when they were kids. They love it.

I remembered loving this album as a child, and was delighted when my daughter received this for her birthday this year. I just listened to it for the first time in probably over 25 years and was amazed at how good the songs were. The lyrics, of course, are fabulous, and the music is catchy, but not at all annoying like some children's music can be. Both of my kids (age 4 and 2) were dancing around the room on the first listen and asked me to play it again when it was over. I have a feeling it will be in heavy rotation for a while by their request. It's a shame that it's only available as an import, but I think even at the cost of the import this is WELL worth it! You won't go wrong with this CD.

This was a cd (actually it was a tape) that I enjoyed when I was younger, so I bought it for my triplets to enjoy as I did as a child. The songs are so great!! They bring back "multiple" memories.

I bought this for my 2 and half year old grandson. He loves it. I had played it for his mom and when she was a child and she had loved it. I think this can help any car ride!!!

My girls (8, 5.5, and 3) love this cd. We had the tape, but they don't understand the delay and needing to "look for" specific songs. Now the 3 year old can ask for Pierre and get it!

I'm so glad I found the soundtrack to REALLY ROSIE by Carole King on CD. It brings back found memories of seeing this in school when I was in the 2nd grade. I didn't remember "Rosie," but I remembered "Chicken Soup With Rice."

At first I thought I had imagined the whole thing but a friend of mine, who also saw the show when he was a kid, confirmed that it really did exist.

The CD is great! The songs are catchy and King's voice is perfect for children's music. This really shows off her talent as a composer as she sets the wonderful lyrics by Maurice Sendak to music. Although the soundtrack came out in 1975, it sounds timeless. A true classic and great for the whole family!

It comes with a small booklet with liner notes written by Sendak in 1999, some illustrations from the show, and the lyrics to all the songs.

Hopefully with the release of the live action movie "Where The Wild Things Are," there will be remastered DVD of the "Really Rosie" TV special.

Until then check out Where the Wild Things Are and Other Maurice Sendak Stories (Scholastic Video Collection) because it features the "Nutshell Kids" and has the cartoons for "Chicken Soup With Rice," "One Was Johnny," "Alligators All Around," and "Pierre."

This is a really great cd. I had the record when I was a kid, and wore it out I listened to it so much. Now my daughter is loving the cd. I was so happy to find it! Even though it's over 20 years old, the songs are still really fun and sweet, and don't sound dated at all. A really fun cd for little girls, especially.
