I purchased this compilation at a popular department chain and have to warn the consumer that this compilation reeks of a record company rip off, not only of the fans, but also Julieta herself. First of all, the CD is mislabeled. It claims to include the song "Como Se," one of her biggest hits, as track #2 and it doesn't. Second, instead of getting "Como Se" you get "Primer Dia" as tracks 11 and 12 (WTF!?!?!). Also, the lack of other Julieta gems, like her song from Amores Perros is a minus as well. Looks like SONY is out to hustle its Latin artists (as usual) and the consumer gets reamed too in the process. You'll have better luck downloading your favorite tracks from iTunes or making your own compilation if you already own Julieta's individual CDs. I bought the CD for my wife who loves some of her songs and I've been had. Que jodida!

I had heard nothing about Julieta Venegas until a few days ago, when I saw a TV program in which she was featured, and inmediately I liked her style. So I decided to buy a record of her, and thought that a compilation was the right way to start. Then I bought this CD and heard it. Now I think that none of the songs on it is a masterpiece, but every song is very catchy, and I don't regret with this record.
Some other reviewers stated that there was a manufacturing error, but at least my copy features the twelve songs as indicated on the label.
I recomend this solid compilation from this mexican singer for those who don't know her and, like me, had heard nothing from her work before.

Well, if you've never bothered to buy a Venegas CD then this is the item for you. If you already have all her previous records then maybe this isn't for you since there is nothing new on it. Unless you're a collectionist of course.
I feel that to make this compilation more interesting, more rare songs should've been added like La Jaula De Oro and Pobre De Ti. Not even Amores Perros is included and that was a semi big hit for her!
Supposedly there will be a double CD edition of this compilation that'll hopefully included all those rare songs I mentioned but to this date I've seen nothing of it.
I can't help but think of this compilation release as nothing more than her record label simply cashing in.

This is a phenomenal collection of Julieta Venegas' most popular hits. Venegas' formal studies in music bring a truly artistic quality to these songs. She sings each phoneme with the precision of a music score. Her diction is amongst the most perfect of any Spanish language singer, making her the Karen Carpenter of Latin music.

There are few female Latin singers that actually play the musical instruments in their creations. Venegas is one of these few. She is a true artist and not a corporate creation by the likes of Miami Sound Machine.

Great CD, exactly what I wanted but the mail time was ridiculous. The factory even said I was eligible for 2-3 shipping & it still took 10 days.

Very hip, up to date. Not too loud or crazy. Good variety of different beats.

If you liked Shakira before she started to sing crappy songs in English, you'll love Julieta.

I bought this cd "Realmente lo mejor" de Julieta Venegas as a present. When we opened the cd we realized it came with a manufacturing error, the cd was missing the first song, the last song was recorded twice, and the songs were all out of order. I haven't tried to return it yet, but I will. It has the best songs of Julieta Venegas, but I think it was very irresponsible from the manufacturers to release a cd with errors.

I bought this cd "realmente lo mejor" de julieta venegas and it's really good.... i especially like "seria feliz", "eres para mi", and "andar conmigo"... however, the cd came with a manufacturing error... the cd was missing the first song, the last song was recorded twice, and consequently the songs were all out of order... i'm going to return the cd, and hopefully the replacement won't have the same mistakes... i would have given the cd 3 stars because it does contain her best songs, but the manufacturing mistakes are incredibly aggravating so i can only give it 2 stars.
