I love this book. It is a great read, I could not put it down. I loved the main character Jenna. I like to read books that have strong female characters in them. Jenna is strong and she has passion, heart and courage. The story is so unique. I was blown away by the powers that Jenna possesses and the torment those powers bring her.

The supporting characters are strong in their own right, so it's the kind of book that has you rooting for more than just one character, and being able to identify with each one.

There's lots of action here too, and the author has created a unique world, that was truly a mesmerizing place to 'visit'. A real page turner.

I recommend it!!

Even though this is a young adult book, it is well written and the story is intriguing to all ages. Everyone has experienced loss and heartbreak; we've wished we could make that pain go away and prayed to take it on for those we love. This book tackles those concepts and their ramifications. What if you could? Would you? How would it affect you?

Most dystopian novels focus on developing worlds, they describe in detail all the desirable qualities a society has and then quickly degrade that image until the dark underbelly is revealed and the society is ultimately destroyed. This book is uniquely different and refreshing in that from page one we know this society is far from perfect. Instead, we are introduced to Jenna whose struggling, both internally and externally, to live within the confines of her community all the while striving for self-fulfillment. The characters in this book are brilliantly developed, you hate them, you grieve for them, you cheer for them and most importantly you grow along with them. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment!

I began reading the story and didn't want to stop. It got my attention and held me captive until the very last word. This book would be interesting to male or female.
I am looking forward to more from this author, and hopefully a continuation of these characters in a sequel.

Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. There are so many new books that come out these days that they all start to blend together. This story was refreshing with a truly original plot. The world that is created really draws you in and keeps you on our toes throughout. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!

When I first picked up this book, I was only planning on reading for 10 minutes before bed, but found myself still reading at 3am! I couldn't put the book down. The author has created a fantastic world which draws you in with it's rich characters. I particularly love the strong female lead in this book. Great plot, great character development...now I just can't wait for book 2 to come out!

The concept is brilliant! Who hasn't gone through some terrible event in life and wished the memory could be plucked from their memory, never to be thought about or dealt with again? In this book, the Reapers are tasked with removing those traumatic memories from the minds of the noble and the wealthy. But, alas, those horrors then must live on in the minds and memories of the Reapers themselves.
This book has great character development, likeable (and detestable) characters, and a storyline that kept me reading later than I'd planned. There were even a few "Whoa, I didn't see that coming!" moments which were a very pleasant surprise.
This is a great book - very appropriate - for teens and young adults, and anyone who likes a good fantasy novel.
I am already looking forward to the sequel.

This was a great read! I love fantasy and this kept engaged throughout the entire book. The only reason I would give it less then a five star rating is because volume one is the only book released... I am excited for the next one!

I would recommend to anyone. Enjoy!
