As a former member , of the REAPERS BRONX, (I was a jr. REAPER 1975, while my brother was a full member 1971-1975)I was shocked to find it on AMAZON.com the book by Mr. Hoeing (I've talked with him via internet) is a great read, a little mixed up on facts but a great read never the less. Over the last few years we've had reunions and have discussed the book at length. One of the facts mixed up is that a certain incident that had taken place on Morton place in fact happened over near the main division(180th st.) not Morton place and not another gang, but a jealous husband. A lot of members went on to get jobs, raise families and some members are old enough to retire. but some members didn't make it.
