master p took the time to help write and produce this master piece entitled "rear end" performed by the newest no limit soliderette Mercedes!!! She is so talented and she can really sing!! She suprises many because off her appearl on the front cover because it looks like a nasty, sex crazed female rapper but instead it is an involved, sensitive, female singer. the best songs on the album is "hit em" (featuring her female friend A-Lexxus and "momma" Mia X), "crazy bout ya" (featuring master p, peaches and erica foxx), it's your thing (featuring master p) i can tell (featuring odell), and "champagne and candlelight". not many cd'z i have i give five stars but this one is a definte two thumbs up. the one problem with this cd is that in everysingle song there is at least 2 or more guest artists and she gets crunched for time ruining her talent and excellence to perform. i really wish that she could have had at least 2 solo songs instead of just one. the album is very explicit but it's alwayz the guest artists that "curse" while mercedes probably swears in maybe 5 or 6 tracks! if you took out the guest artists you could probably get a none parental advisory album but the way the album is arranged and produced is excellent. while most no limit artists rush to put out an album and then put out another one the same year and another one the next year, for mercedes it's not like that. she made her first appearence on mia x'z first solo cd "unlady like" and has been working on a solo album for three years! i don't think she will go platium because not many people no of her but i stress this fact please pick this up you will like it.

SHe is my Favorite female rapper. I rap myself and i really look up to her, as a mentor you know? This album is SMOOOOKIN', on the fo'real. Excellent. My fav cut "N***** aint SH*T". THat cut is Raw. ans a whole lotta others. i'm tellin you buy it. i think all the cuts are slick. Girl can BLOW and FLOW.... That's Talent.

I've been waiting eagerly for MERCEDES for nearly 2 years to come out. I bought it the SECOND I got the money. I wasn't in any way disappointed! I got exactly what I wanted. She's not JUST A RAPPER or JUST A R&B GIRL. She's BOTH. This is definately one of my top 5 favorite NO LIMIT albums. The best tracks are "I CAN TELL", "FREE GAME" and "CAMOUFLAGE". Go out and BUY IT!

MERCEDES's dad must be a terrorist, cuz she's the bomb! this album is off the meat rack! and to the guy named : º«ÈmøTíØÑz»º who wrote a bad review of this, man you is WHACK! punk sucka! maybe if you had some taste, you'd know a good album when you hear one! get a clue BOY!

Mercedes has some skillz!!! What took so long for this album to drop? It's hot!!!!! Did I mention that she is fine as hell? She has the potential to become a big time female artist like her label mate Mia X, Missy,and Eve.

I REALLY LOVE THIS ALBUM.I SPENT $19.00 FOR THIS CD.IT'S A GOOD ONE.I REALLY GIVE HER 5*'S,B/C SHE IS A LADY BALLER AND DON'T NEED A MAN TO DEPEND ON AND I LIKE IT WHEN WOMEN R LIKE THAT.THEY R INDEPENDENT.THAT'S WHAT WE ALL NEED TO BE.SOME OF HER SONGS R OKAY ,BUT MY FAV.IS IT'S YOUR THING ,PONY RIDE,CANDLELIGHT AND CHAMPAGNE.THE TRUEST SONG IS N***A'S AINT S*** NOW THAT WAS TIGHT....

OK, yes, i too had serious doubts about thi album. No Limit is a very hot RAP label, but it's other 2 r&b acts i liked very much (Sons Of Funk, and Mo B. Dick). But Mercedes album has been "coming soon" for almost 3 years! i would have bet my life that it was never coming out. And i never even heard her on any other No Limit albums before. But i'm very glad i got it! She has one of the sexiest voices out there, especially when she sings, but she can rap quite well also. There's only about 2 songs that i dont like, all the rest are HOT!! My favorite song is "Pony Ride". Also my other favs. are "Hit Em", "I Can Tell", and "Do You Wanna Ride". This isnt typical No Limit music. But if you like rap and r&b combined, get this! you wont be sorry!

Fans of No Limit Records will agree when I say, it's been a 2 year wait for the album, but it was worth it. The album mixes the gangster rap and R&B like they were one genre. Includes the track, "IT'S YOUR THING" featuring MASTER P and other tracks include "I CAN TELL" featuring JAMO and MAC (an R&B track mixing the rap verses with a great chorus and R&B verses) and CAMOUFLAGE featuring MAC and SAM (an excellent party gangster collaboration). One of No Limit's best '99 releases.

This is one of the best albums I have heard... It is definetly one of the most underated. Mercedes a great talent. She doubled as a singer and a rapper. There were so many classic songs on this cd. I think it was one of the best No Limit releases, right there with Mac two classic cds. Rear End took three years to come out but to me, it was worth the wait. This cd was released in 1999, but I still play it almost every day. I love the cd and Mercedes is a beautiful women. As many may know, she is no longer in the music business. She didnt leave like Mac and go to prison, or like Soulja Slim and get killed(R.I.P.), or like Master P, and just be flat out too old. She left to become a lawyer. She went to law school in 2000 and became a lawyer. Here is the top songs on the cd.

1) Its Your Thing - It was a good opener
2) Pu**y - This was a great song featuring The Commision.
4) I Can Tell - People still play this song. It is one of my favorites.
5) Hit Em Up - Classic song
10) Pony Ride - One of my favorites on the album. Great song.
12) Camouflage - Great song. Classic ft. Mac and Sam. This song really shows off Mercedes abality to rap with the best.
16) Crazy Bout Ya - On of my favorites. I really enjoy this song.
22) Your The Only One - This is my favorite song on the Rear End cd. It really shows off Mercedes abality to sing. I love this song.


Overall, if you can find this cd, BUY IT. Period. It is worth every penny.

This album is tight! I actually came across it on a whim and ended up loving it. If your a big female rap fan get this album. I cover kinda makes you think the whole album is sexually chaged but really it isn't. Mercedes sings alot on this album. So go check it out!
