Book Description

In each installment of 7 Hours, a character is visited by the enigmatic Thomas Constant, who makes a heart-stopping statement: “You are about to die. But you may choose from one of three options: Live seven more hours, travel back in time and relive seven hours, or accept the inevitable and die now.”

Professor Dan Blakely has it all . . . until a false accusation leaves him in financial ruin with nothing to fall back on and little hope.

In a moment of desperation, he decides to do the unthinkable. But when he loses control of his SUV and careens down the side of a mountain, his plans take another turn.

Trapped beneath the frame of his mangled vehicle, Dan is visited by a mysterious stranger who offers him three choices. Filled with regret, Dan makes a decision . . . but little does he know that his troubles have only just begun.

The clock is ticking. What will you do with the time you have left?

5.0 out of 5 stars Spectacular read! May 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
As always, Mike Dellosso has created a spectacular read! Mike's superb storytelling ability shines in "Rearview".

Dan Blakely, an up and coming professor, suddenly finds himself face to face with financial and personal ruin. Not knowing what to do, he panics and in making the wrong choices, finds himself underneath a mangled car, his life ebbing away. While trapped, a stranger approaches him with a question: What would you do with another 7 hours?

The choices he makes from that moment on made me yell at Dan Blakely one moment and cry the next. I felt his pain in his realization of what kind of husband and dad he was. I rejoiced when he realized that we cannot waste second chances. I wept when his inevitable end came. This story moved me in ways no other story has. Time is precious. I am thankful that I didn't have to be on the brink of dying to realize it. Thank you Mike for another moving and sensational story.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very thought provoking story! May 15, 2012
By Kimfurd
Format:Kindle Edition
"He'd spent too much time staring in the rearview mirror of his life and beating himself up over what he found there." (Daniel - Rearview by Mike Dellosso)

Rearview is the first of seven novellas in Tyndale's 7 hours Omnibus. Expect the unexpected. Expect your life perspective to be challenged and changed. Prepare your heart to receive a blessing.

This particular story is special to me, because I've followed the author through his battle with colon cancer. I've heard his heart cry out to God. I've witnessed God's answer. Rearview is a beautiful expression of time and the consequences of choices - both intentional and unintentional. Life is too precious to waste. Live it with purpose.

This book contains a fabulous collection of stories! Don't hesitate to add this to your reading collection today!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rearview July 28, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I loved this book. This was a great story. I finished the book in one sitting because I didn't want to put it down. I have no idea what I would do if I were given the three choices Dan was given. The ending was great but a bit confusing. I don't want to have a spoiler alert so I will let it go at that. Buy the book. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quick Read that Leaves You Thinking July 31, 2013
By J4Life5
Format:Kindle Edition
This is the first book I've read of this series of books, but I will be sure to read more! It had my attention from the very beginning and kept me wondering what would happen until the very end. There were twists and turns and unexpected surprises, which I can't get enough of in books.

I read this book two days ago and I am still thinking about it and what I would do with my 7 hours.

I recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read packed with mystery, suspense, and one that challenges you to think about what is most important in your life. A very interesting book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Eye opening May 13, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
This book only took me a couple of hours to read. But in that short time, I realized how short life really is and how we should give thought to how we live our lives. This book grabs a hold of you and doesn't let go. Definitely worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looking Back to Live Forward April 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Dan Blakley has been given a choice? Which would you choose? To die now, live seven more hours or relive any seven hours of your life? What do you do with regrets?I felt I had been dropped into an episode of the Twilight Zone or an Alfred Hitchcock movie. The premise is haunting and reminds the reader to hold people tightly and things loosely. This book is a riddle which isn't solved until the final scene.Mike Dellosso knows how to write a page turner and doesn't disappoint here!
