Such a worshipful and beautiful work of art. The harmonies are brilliantly done. I could listen to this cd for hours, and have! I can not recommend this music enough. It is unique and fresh. Thanks Leslie and David for sharing your gifts!

This EP is phenomenal. I am absolutely blown away.

There are very few worship bands/albums that MAKE me get into the worship frame of mind. This one does. It is almost compelling. It is really like the Spirit reaches out to mine and holds me. There is no way to describe it better. Never has an album simultaneously brought me to tears and joy in the same instant. Absolutely blown away.

Tracks:

1. Reason to Sing - The song I saw on youtube after watching a Gungor performance. Hooked me right off.
The lyrics are what drew me. Hopelessness and fear. Battled by Our Father. The Victory. They used
minimal lyrics yet in this case, less is more. Beautiful. 5/5

2. Oh Our Lord - Almost a response to the first track, whereas they were looking for a Reason to Sing, here
they obviously have it. The music grabs me less than others, but not enough to say I don't like it. By any
means. It just doesen't immediately break my ego into pieces and leave me a babbling wreck like the first
one did. That being said, there is a subtle use of delay on the vocals at the verse/bridge? that gives them a
nice ethereal quality. I like it. 4/5

3. Spirit Speaks - The second favorite one and the second one that will rip me apart. So passionate. So humble.
So true. The vocal hook in this one really pierces my soul and bleeds away all resistance to worship.
Again a subtle delay can be heard that blends in nicely. A spiralling ending of:
"With every breath I breathe, with every song I sing, I want to shout it out, Lord I am listening, to every word
You speak, I'll go where You will lead, to love the least of these, is my greatest offering." 5/5

4.... Buried in the Grave - Almost a teaching on Grace and Salvation with a great middle portion where they proclaim
in a rising crescendo "It is won. It is done." Great song, more up tempo and supported by the music than
previous tracks. 5/5

5. All Praise to You - Another soul mover, this one actually should be heard by any who are feeling the confines
of humanity are holding them back from knowing the Father and the Son. "Here our cries Lord, come shake
these walls, and rattle their steeples, Lord we are Your people." 5/5

6. Wake Up - A common theme today among artists that I feel really feel the Spirit, and not the $cene. A slower
beginning, but a mid tempo end and another mantra-like portion where they repeat a portion a few times before
reaching a climax and then ending with a chill-inducing group singing portion that builds yet agian with
ASaD's repeating lyrics interweaving with the crowd's words, then ends with the crowd. 5/5

7. Reason to Sing (Reprise) - Kind of a "bring it home" moment. Slow. Very light percussion, nice strings and bass,
and some piano support a short return to the 2nd track's beginning lyrics. Kind of like a contented sigh after
the rest of the EP. I wish it was longer, it would be a great Prayer/Meditation/Reflection song to have in the
background.

In Closing:

One of the best and most played purchases I have made in a long time. I sleep and work to this and am rid of all that
distracts me when I do. Great musical abilities and Spirit-Led vocals bring me to my knees every time. Read more ›
