15 Reasons I Love My Dad may appear to be for small children but it is a book that people of all ages will enjoy filling out. I know because my teenage sister completed the book for our dad and he loved it. The book gets your creative thoughts flowing with fill-in-the-blank sentences like "I love my dad because he can ________" and "I love my dad because he is the best _______." The illustrations are attractive and fun and there are many pages in the book for the "co-author" to draw pictures or add photos of them and their dad. My dad smiled as he read through the book, laughed a few times and even got teary-eyed on one page. Parents love gifts that are created by their children and that's just what this book is. Once finished, each book is unique and personalized for the special dad in someone's life. What I want to know is when the book for MOM will be ready!

My adult sister, brothers, and I completed this book for my father for his birthday. We added family pictures and notes he had written to us through the years. A wonderful way to show your father how much he means to you.

I bought this book for my 4 and 2 year old sons to fill out for father's day. I must say the concept of the book is great but...the pages are laminated in such a way that crayons don't color and child safe markers smear. Also, my children and I found many of the illustrations creepy and disturbing. I was ask several times "Mom what are they doing in that picture?"

You could make a nicer book yourself from scratch.

Let me just start by saying that I am a college student, and an adult, and I had so much fun filling out this book for my dad!

I came across this book by chance right after Christmas last year. Since my dad's birthday was coming up, I thought I'd try it out. I loved filling in the pages with memories and drawing the different things in the book! I gave it to him for his birthday dinner and my dad loved it! We spent a very long time going through each page, (You definitely do not have to ONLY write on the provided lines!) laughing and crying about all of the personal things I had put in.

I'm living away from home now, but the last time I visited, it was in a special case in the living room.

This is definitely a gift that all dads will cherish for years to come!

This was an excellent book. It was exactly what I hoped it to be. I have three stepchildren 9, 6 and 5. I sat down with them and read the beginning of the sentences to them and let them finish them with their own thoughts. I then wrote in their responses. I used a line for each answer and wrote their initial next to it. There were enough lines to use for 3 children. They loved doing it. There were also places for them to draw pictures. I gave it to my husband for his birthday. He went through it and read it out loud. They were all proud of their individual responses. He loved it because, he said he never received a gift like that. It's something he can keep forever. It captures a moment in their childhood and the way they feel about their dad. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to make a Dad smile. I must admit, as someone mentioned, the pictures in the book are kind of strange. But, it doesn't take away from the overall meaning. It's more about the kids' thoughts, so I don't think it mattered much.

My husband is deployed and we have a 4 year old son who is just learing to write his letters. This is the perfect gift for Dad for Father's Day! Can't wait to hear how much he enjoys it!

I would like to review this from an owners perspective, but I ordered it 4 months ago and have as yet not had it shipped. Once a month, I get an email saying the ship date has been extended yet another month. Sadly I was going to send this to my husband in Iraq for Christmas.
