5.0 out of 5 stars too true
It is hilarious in a i-wish-i-could-not-relate kind of way. I am about to graduate so I know (and haven't had the chance yet to forget) how horrible law school is!! You will find these stereotypical professors/students do exist! It is actually fun to read and realize that there are a lot of normal people who went to law school and found it just as bad. I don't think...

3.0 out of 5 stars funny.. but COME ON!
There are many laughs to be had while reading this book. But in the end it is written by a bunch of disgruntled law students who hate the profession and want everyone else to hate it as well.

I'm not sure where these people went to school- probably in those top tier schools that people sell their souls to the devil to get into, and then complain about the competition, money, etc.

If you go to a regional law school, or (gasp!) a public law shool, you will find that most of what is described in this book is not true. My professors are not out to get me or humiliate me. Perhaps the ivy league schools are filled with teachers with this mentality, but your state's school is most likely filled with people who enjoy teaching and want to produce good lawyers.

Read this for fun- but don't let it stop you from going to law school if you really want to go.

You will find these stereotypical professors/students do exist! It is actually fun to read and realize that there are a lot of normal people who went to law school and found it just as bad. I don't think anyone who hasn't experienced it themselves will truely understand and relate to this book! So I would recommend it more for people who have been through it and not for people considering it.

Wow. I wish someone had bought this book for me BEFORE I went to law school, just so I'd made an informed decision!!! Full of awesome shoot-from-the-hip truths not only about law school, but about the practice as well. I read this in our law firm library and thought "This is exactly what I've been saying" several times; laughed aloud several other times; and then bought my own copy. Inspiring quotes and stories from tons of attorneys who went on to pursue completely different/alternative career paths. Inspiring to those who want out, who are still "in", and a cautionary warning/preparation to those who want a career in law. A MUST READ to be well-informed and prepared for law school and also, the career that follows.
