I have worked as an editor of one flavor or another for enough years that I can't read anything--signs, menus, you name it--that has typos without marking them for correction. (People hate this for some reason, it turns out.) I've also practiced medicine without a license, sold bonds without any training, studied nineteenth century astrophysics, and wanted to be everything when I grow up. I have not yet grown up, so there's still time. It might be late for ballerina, but I'm thinking astronaut becomes more possible every day.
