This review is from: Rebirth, Book 6 (Paperback)
In this chapter we learn about Deshwitat's and Kalutika's childhoods and who they met under the most tragic of cirmcumstances. Both boys are very, very different than they people they eventually become and it's hard not to feel sorry for both them given either the conditions they grew up in or what happens to their family. Towards the end of the book we see Deshwitat and Kalutika as young men and the truely different paths their lives have taken since they last saw each other as children.
The is really one of the best chapters so far in the Rebirth saga. Deshwitat and Kalutika were pretty much mystries before this but here we learn a lot about what turned them into the men they became in a truely heart-wrenching story. It's a book that is truely worth every penny.
