This was nothing I expected. I baught this album with sheer doubt and I was pleasently surprised. Pain is an original sounding Industrial Metal band. Well, in truth it's just one man..Pete T., of the black metal band Hypocrisy. THIS IS NOT A BLACK METAL PROJECT....just in case you got that impression. There is a heavy dose of electronica and the guitar style is much closer to Rammstein than it is to any of those bands from Norway. I like the songs "sHE wHIPPED", and bREATHING IN, bREATHING OUT" the most, but the whole album is good. If you like Industrial Metal than you will certainly not be dissapointed.
