While I was in graduate school in Tucson, back in the day before the Internet, I helped edit this book. It was a typical feminist project, with a cooperative of editors who reached out to every women's center in the country to find authors. Instead of dwelling on abuse, we used art, poetry, and prose to help people through the stages of recovery from abuse. I am very proud of this book, and I keep buying up copies and redistributing to anyone who might benefit from them.
