...to produce a near perfect song, and this song was definately born of those forces.

The horns, steady cool beat, and crystal clear lyrical performance are such a perfect combination that you can't stop listening to it.

This era produced some sounds like PM Dawn, Arrested Developement, and others that have not been matched since, and probably never will. Because when they set out to make this style of music they didn't try to fit the mold of a certain genre...they just made music that sounded good to any human listening. Something very rare today.
