i saw the video for " venus complex" on headbangers ball and i had to get this cd. These guys are one of the best metalcore bands right now. i read some reviews on these guys and i didnt like who ppl compare these guys to. TT sounds nothing like killswitch or pod, and i think someone said chimara but i cant remember. anyway, TT has their own sound, and if you want to hear a band that offers something new to the hardcore/ metalcore scene than check out " the rebirth of tragedy" cd.

There are so many bands in the metalcore genre right now, and it gets difficult to really stand out. Twelve Tribes, unfortunately, is falling victim to this. And it's a shame, because metal fans are seriously missing out on one of the best metal albums of the year, seriously! I'd classify 12T as a cross between Killswitch Engage and maybe Candiria or old E. Town Concrete, because of a slight hip hop influence.

But don't call this a nu-metal album, cause it's not. These guys have some serious talent, and have truly crafted an impressive album. BUY IT!!!

Standout tracks: Baboon Music, Venus Complex(f---king amazing!), Chroma, The Train Bridge, and Luma

\m/ Very good album. Too bad Tribes Tribes was not advertised more. Lots of people compare them to KsE. But I really think they have their own style and sound. Great vocals, awesome guitar, bass, and drums!!! Their other album, Midwest Pandemic is also great. Definitely pick this up!!! You won't be disappointed if you like metalcore!! Rock on!!! \m/

This album is a hybrid of sounds and lead singer Adam Jackson jumps from gut wrenching screams to calm melodies. This is not an emo record so do not get it twisted. Venus Complex,Translation of Fixes and Chroma are brutal tracks. There are many who try to compare these gentlemen to other bands but they fail to realize that they are in a league of their own. The Midwest is taking over soon and Dayton, Ohio will lead the way.

I attended the Summer Meltdown in Alaska yesterday with 12 Tribes as one of the performing bands. I was blown away and had to come here to purchase a CD first thing today.

I had never hear of 12 Tribes or had heard their music until yesterday, but they blew me away. I saw them live in Alaska performing with 36 Crazyfists among other bands and they totally kicked ass. I am definetely going to buy their music and will be looking forward to more shows and music from them in the future.

I got the cd a couple months ago and I still love it.
I also own all Slipknot cds,Hatebreed,KsE,Ect...
I still think this cd compares with all of the above, even the Knot!
I first heard of these guys when I bought HeadBangersBall Vol 2
(I thought Venus Complex was one of the best tracks on the 2nd cd)
So I spent $7.00 And bought it here at Amazon.
All my cds from well known artists cost at least twice this much and half aren't as good!
I love these guys because the lyrics are well thought out,And the extra guitar player adds a lot of originality to their sound. (oh yeah, I also love the Adam J.s voice)
This cd has lots of good songs(Baboon Music,Traslation of the fixes, Venus Complex, Backburner, train Bridge, and Godshaped war are my favs.)
Any way, if youre thinking of getting it, just spend around $10 and DO IT! TT is kind of like Hatebreed with REAL lyrics.

Twleve Tribes does it!! a really great album. from the lyrics, to the heavy guitar riffs, and great drumm beat. I first heard of these guys when i saw them on Headbeangers Ball. I haven't had the chance to see them live yet, but i love the CD, and i know their live show's are even better. we all know that the Rap/metal seen died awhile back. But these guys are so much more than that. its like rap/metal evolved, but these guys are hardcore!! i recommend this CD to anyone, its definately a find!

I had never heard of Twelve Tribes until i saw them live opening for Soulfy. They were so awesome i went and bought the CD between sets. Then i listened to the CD a day after. The lyrics are good, and the CD has great production, they kinda sound like a heavier P.O.D., you should definately buy this CD.

Solid CD. The lyrics are great and the music sounds great. I would recommend this cd to any hardcore fan.
