What can I say. This is a beautiful product that works in the background, and doesn't seem to slow down the computer at all. It is reassuring to know that if my C drive crashes I can copy everything back to the new drive including my Vista operating system. The only thing to be aware of is that if the problem with your C drive is caused by a virus, the virus will be copied to this drive too and restored to the new drive.
I must also commend Rebit's support team. I contacted them before purchasing the drive. My call was answered within seconds and the tech support person was knowledgeable, friendly and articulate. Unfortunately this is becoming increasingly a rarity with other companies.

Finally, someone got computer backup right. This
is truly set it and forget it. This is the way
backup should work, and the price is right too.

It installed easily and seems to backup with no fuss. Each time it backsup my mcafee antivirus program quantines a file as a trojan. I have contacted Rebit about it and they say it is caused by the way it labels files but it is not a trojan and they are working with Mcafee to resolve it. So far it is not resolved but it seems to be working ok. I'll be 100%satified when this is resolved.

I was able to back-up a failing hard drive and restore everything to a new drive with ease. This product was so good, I bought another for home.

I am in my 60s and have found this product to be the easiest to use to protect my computer from the inevitable hardware crash. You know it's just a matter of time before it happens. So protect yourself from a major frustration and get one of these Rebit backup systems. You won't regret it.

Have been using this device for three months. I am totally satisfied with it.

Using windows 7 here. When purchased 7 was not out to general public. They still
had drivers on line.

The peace of mind knowing there is a current copy of your computer, the whole thing
is well worth the price.

After Rebit has your computer totally backed up. I suggest you turn it off. Since it
copy's every thing. That includes a virus! So I only turn it on to catch up when I'm sure
the computer is virus free.... That's just me. Worry wart. :-}}

Great product - the information that comes with it is pathetic however and surely some mention should be made of the on/off switch.

The backup is very easy to install. But be aware that it can really slow your computer down. I am considering only plugging it in in the evening when I go to bed.

Wonderfully easy to set up and use! Tech support response was equally easy for the few questions I had.

As usual with Amazon, well shipped at a substantial discount compared to any other source I checked out. Simple instructions, no software, no CD's, just complete back-up. Now if it works if/when I need it to work. . . Rob
