I ordered this based upon a review in PC World (Oct. 09, p. 90), and it is everything it promised. I just plugged it in, and it backed up my entire system. When I call up its contents using Windows Explorer, it looks just like what is on my PC--and functions the same way. I can open folders and look at files. That is VERY comforting. I haven't had the need to use it to restore my desktop, but I'm quite confident that it will do it seamlessly.

You hope you never need to use your backup, but when you do it great to know that it will work as expected - 100% recovery! The recovery process was easy, quick and complete.

Purchased two of these 320 gb units -- one as a gift(which I won't now give) -- and had major problems from the get-go. Something I eventually found out was probably due to Windows "volume shadow control", or some such, prevented any kind of backup at all, after several tries.

The Rebit tech support was very helpful, but I still couldn't get it to run. After talking to some other people who purchased this unit (or any of the other sizes), and also weren't happy... well.. I'll find another kind of backup. :/

I bought this because I know my limitations with installing software and computer-related issues.

So this product seemed like I should be able to install with no problem, I mean after all, they say "no setup, no worries," and it's "ridiculously" simple

I think I got it to "set up" but now I can't tell if it is backing up my data or not, so I now have to follow all these instructions to determine which unit I have, which installation program I now need to run manually and I can't even find a phone number for tech support.

It is useless piece of junk.

Good product. Easy to use, but don't know if it is backing up with included software or by using the

windows backup program.

I have had this for about 2 months, just found out is is not downloading a thing. I scan where they told me too and guess what, it is not doing anything. This is a piece of junk, I am here looking for another backup drive, because this one sucks.

The Rebit is great! You just connect it to your computer, and it goes to work....and you never have to think about backing up again! The most computer-illiterate person you can imagine would have no problem with this. It's worth every cent!

This is a "no brainer" when it comes to a total backup package. So glad I learned about Rebit!
