About the Author

Tim Shoemaker is the father of three boys ranging in ages from 12 to 18. He has served as a volunteer youth leader for more than fifteen years and as a leader in the high school youth outreach program for 11 years. His other books include Tried and True Job, Smashed Tomatoes, Bottle Rockets, and Other Outdoor Devotionals and Bashed Burritos, Green Eggs, and Other Indoor/Outdoor Devotionals.

While the idea behind this book looks like it would be good for my 8 year old son. We were unable to actually SEE the words on his kindle. We could read the beginnings, but the "life lesson" is imbedded in a comic form and it was not a text size that could be seen by human eyes (and I have good vision).
Maybe the paper copy would be a nice choice but it's a NO for the kindle.
