This review is from: Rebounder, Ultimate ReboundAIR Quarter Fold (Misc.)
I have owned the ultimate rebound quarter fold for 4 or 5 years now and always go back to exercising on it. It's a very sturdy piece of equipment, easy on my knees, fun (remember bouncing on the bed when you were a kid?), and I can exercise gently or more aggressively depending on how ambitious I am. I usually watch tv or listen to music and never get bored - and I feel good after I'm done. The springs have started breaking and they sent replacements out for the charge of shipping only which says a lot for this company.

This is my first rebounder so I can't compare with others on the market. However, as an engineer I can report that the quality of the product is first class. Google "EWOT" (exercising with oxygen therapy), buy a rebounder and an oxygen concentrator and prepare to be dazzled with immediate results. Fifteen minutes at 10 liters/min. is all it takes to transform your health.

ReboundAir Rebounder (Quarter Fold),

This review is from: Rebounder, Ultimate ReboundAIR Quarter Fold (Misc.)
I've owned the "quarter folding" rebounder by ReboundAir for two years. Its very stable and has performed flawlessly. Because I have bad knees, I cannot jog outside. So using the rebounder is the next best type of aerobic exercise for me. Its very comfortable to use and easy on the knees.I use it to jog in place, as opposed to jumping on it. I weight 185, use it about 2 hours a week, and no broken springs yet. I would easily buy another one if need be and highly recommend it. This review is for the "quarter folding" ReboundAir rebounder, which from the reviews I've read, is considered the most stable one they make. I don't have experience with their other models, but I'd pay the extra and get the quarter folder, as the company recommends it as the most stable, and my experience is that it is very stable.

Rebounding my way to a healthy body,

I've owned the "quarter folding" rebounder by ReboundAir for about two years. I absolutely love exercising on my rebounder. I wanted something I would stick with, could do inside or outside, was impacted by the seasons, and wouldn't shock my body. I find that I hate most aerobic exercises. I like to run but not in the winter and my area has a lot of traffic (ditto for biking). I like to swim but only in the summer. I like to dance but not when it feels like exercise, many more excuses for other forms of aerobic exercises. The excuses ended when I got my rebounder.I find that jogging on the rebounder easily replaces my treadmill and stationary bike (benefit - smaller foot print). After a winter of running indoors on my rebounder I am ready for the summer and running outside if I so choose to do so. With the added comfort of a balancing bar this is a piece of exercise equipment that can be used by most people. Tapes are available for beginner and advance rebounders or you can go it on your own by jogging or doing jump jacks. I have several DVD that I alternate between or I put news and jog. All in all one of my best investment in exercise equipment.

This rebounder has a good bounce but is not well designed.,

Before buying the Ultimate rebounder I watched all the videos on reboundair.com. The impression that I got was positive, however, I was a bit puzzled about why there were no videos whatsoever showing the unfolding from start to finish. All the videos were showing just the last gestures, further, videos had a commentary but had no direct sound.Well, after buying this tool you'll find out exactly why!!! The functional design is very poor: opening the Ultimate rebounder is very challenging, on the manual they recommend to have two people doing it, actually if you try to open it by yourself the rebounder might snap and hurt you. Closing the reboundair is even more challenging and risky. You will be disappointed if you think of opening/closing it on a regular basis and stash it under the bed. Further, this is a noisy rebounder, at every jump you'll hear the springs crackling, even after pouring a ton of lubricant such as WD40. I left two stars because, despite the obvious overpricing, the bounce is actually not that bad: you can get a decent heart rate in a short time and without hurting your knees. In comparison, rebounders with bungee cords are more silent and with a gentler bounce, but to raise my heart rate on them I need to jump holding weights in my hands. |
