Great for Weekend Mechanics!,
By Brad Friedman (Chicago, IL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How to Rebuild Your Engine (Motorbooks Internationa Powerpro) (Paperback)
This book steps you through trouble-shooting, removing your engine, doing the actual overhaul or rebuild, and blueprinting. As a beginning weekend mechanic I found it to be informative and helpful. I would definitely recomend this for any curious beginner.

Exceptionally good for an automotive guide,

This review is from: How to Rebuild Your Engine (Motorbooks Internationa Powerpro) (Paperback)
This book is unlike any other automotive maintenance guide. It's clear, well-written, and the photographs are excellent. If I'd found this book before wasting time with those other big name automotive guides, I would have saved myself a lot of aggravation. Even if you're just looking for a decent guide on how car engines work, this is a great learning tool.
