hand built by robots was amazing, and i like the purity of that album. I'm not feeling all the production to rebuilt by humans so much. I get that he's growing as an artist and changing it up, but i hope the next album reverts back to the simple noddling and guitar playing rather than all these other technological aspects. with that said, badman is one of my favorite songs by him--the meaning and the music. i also love let's get together (though i prefer his live version, as with most of his songs), lipstick jungle, and resin on my heartstrings.

Let's not be purists here, especially regarding a monumental talent such as Newton Faulkner. I'd feel guilty complaining that there aren't enough tracks resembling those on his first release. Rebuilt by Humans takes some adjusting to on the first spin. But believe me, it grows on you, because the 3 constants Newton delivers are all present: Killer guitar playing, emotive vocals and clever songwriting. Buy it if you want to partake in the evolution of a master musician before your very ears. 4 Stars.

I love this album...the first album will always have a spot in my heart as it came out right after i first saw this amazing talented young man... Rebuilt is still quirky, melodic, authentic, heartfelt, guitar driven and achingly beautiful.... true there are a couple "singles" but have to say that the video's for them are simply Fun!! The whole album also has a bit of a sad veil that is so touching you can't help but fall head over heels.

Its hard to beat the first CD HBR , RBH is more comersh and not as fun and deep. Almost too slick , I know there is more there , lets see it on your third......
