FNSJ is no longer, and this record is one to buy and cherish. You will never grow bored. Smooth, strong sounds - like good whisky. This band has a cult following of musicians, producers, and club owners in the south and southwest. I saw them in concert a few times in Nashville and Austin before they "disbanded". Linebaugh (now with his own record called Elsewhere under the name Mack Starks, produced by FNSJ bandmate McLaurin) writes and sings lyrics that draw you in, amuse, and make you use that brain - and then make you listen again. McLaurin is a master. Like REM? Like Radiohead? Like Smashing Pumpkins? Check it out. You'll be gald you did.
