4.0 out of 5 stars Tremendous resource for current and future ocean scientists, January 29, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Recent Advances and Issues in Oceanography (Hardcover)
I found the first few chapters quite enlightening with regard to the current "state of the art" in ocean sciences. The additional chapters that describe the lives of prominent ocean scientists, organizations, references, web sites, and speeches will serve as an outstanding "ready reference" for those actually practicing ocean science as well as those working toward becoming ocean scientists.
