Ghoulishly Delightful... :-),

This was a very good choice for me since I really like the Murderdolls, metal, horror flicks, and old school punk. The lyrics are really cheesy, but they are very catchy. This recording was a little bit better than the "6 Years, 6 Feet Under the Influence" which was re-recorded by Wednesday himself. This is a little bit harder, and more like the Murderdolls than that recording. This CD has original songs that the Murderdolls covered (Hooray for Horrorwood=Dead in Hollywood, etc). All in all, I enjoyed it very much...and I enjoy annoying my friends who don't like it. :-)

They are a great band but they broke up i love em get this cdStatement from Mr.13 Words from Wednesday 13: September 2002 Official Statement: May 2002: This was a decision I had to make due to the involvement with my other project, Murderdolls (featuring Joey Jordison of Slipknot and Tripp Eisen of Static-X). Things were presented and offered to me that were much better and appealing than my current situation with FDQ. In other words, an offer that I could not refuse. I had originally planned to carry on with FDQ, until I was offered lead vocal duties with the Murderdolls. Both bands were becoming so similar to each other that I had to make this decision. This decision was in no way based on conflicts between members within the band. U wanna thank everyone for their support over the years and I hope that you will continue your support with me and the Murderdolls. This site will continue as a memorial for FDQ. Any info on other projects of the current FDQ lineup will mentioned here as well as any other dirt that you need to know about. Thanks for 6 years of blood, guts, and screams. So as your Ghoulscout troop leader... I bid you farewell from Planet 13.

I bought this album and having heard Wednesday 13's solo band and Murde/rdolls before and I like this much better not only is Mu/rderdolls pretty much redos of Frankenstein Drag Queens but FDQ's overall style is much better and this album grows on you fast. Singing about the classic horror movies and all else related to ghouls, ghosts, or anything else you can expect out of the Halloween season. All of Wednesday's 13 Horror Glam Punk is Great but FDQ is truly more ugly, gruesome, and gory. Thank Wednesday anyone associated with his bands and people like you records for keeping alive what will hopefully become the next big genre of music.

Viva Las FDQ,

The Frankenstein Drag Queens form Planet 13 are a very different sounding band. And with this cd "Viva Las Violence" they change there directions to a more violent approach to things, rather than their old horror genre. This cd was not officially released in the US, and no FDQ cds are longer for sale by the band. Get these why you can, you will surely enjoy it!
