I bought this book because I was laid off recently and thought it would offer several simple ways to earn extra income. The book and all of the reviews made it seem like it would be a comprehensive guide to earning money online, so I bought the book. I should have really looked at who was reviewing the book. Several of the reviewers were featured "success stories" in his book, so really they did not give an unbiased opinion or review. The first couple of chapters into the book, it is really not much more than a wordy list. It did not leave me feeling any more informed that I was before buying the book. Many of the things described in the book I knew or could have found out from a free book from the library. Beyond that, most of the ways that he suggested to earn money online involved further extensive education and have volumes of books regarding each subject on how to do thme. One example would be, there is a chapter dedicated to writing SEO for webmasters. It made it sound so simple, but when I researched this further, you need to have a pretty heavy background on writing HTML and a fairly extensive knowledge of creating websites. There are many lengthy books and college courses regarding writing SEO. Many of the ideas require an extensive further education. It is apparent that the author has found a niche and is capitalizing on people's desparation in a recession.

Let me start off by saying this book comes in real handy right about now!
It's a very easy read. The steps are clearly laid out for you. It even gives you legitimate websites that you can use to get started. I was taking notes the entire time and telling everyone about this because let's face it, we can all use the money.

It doesn't explain exactly how to start up a 'business' because business plans are complicated and that requires an entirely different book. The laws in every state are different for licenses and depend on the type of business you want, but its told by people with experience and it's a good place to start.

If you feel you've tried everything, I bet you'll be surprised with this book. It goes over how to make money in all areas such as blogging, crafts, fitness, even how to be a mortgage broker from home! The only thing I wished was that it had details on starting a business legally, but beggars can't be choosy.
I applied for Alpine to work from home answering calls. I'm looking forward to working on my terms.

This book is nothing more than a regurgitation of plain information you can read on the internet. Effectively it's the same thing- compiled in book form. Are there helpful tips inside? Perhaps, but the things you really need to know are not written here. Just a basic outline of some trends and possibilities. Very disappointing to see such glowing reviews for something obviously presented here to make money for the author. Buyer beware.

Despite the negative comments that some have posted about this book, let me share the truth.

Clark Covington, is a proven expert with online money making opportunities. His book is filled with ideas that can easily be put to practice and make you money. Clark Covington, also provides website links so you can easily take advantage of his suggestions.

I like the way he thinks, such as one idea he suggest about becoming a virtual assistant (VA). Clark Covington, shows you how to go from hourly paid VA to employer of a team of VA's. From my personal experience I know this idea works and can be done easily on the website he recommends.

Purchase the book, follow the suggestions, go to the links provided, and you will make money.

When reading some of the negative reviews after already picking this book up, I thought, "uh oh"! But, I read it over the course of several days, and you know, I enjoyed it! It's kind of like a guide, a "go-to" manual of sorts. Perfect for a beginner, good for a "middle-range" person, and probably not the best for an expert or guru because chances are they'll know most, if not all, of what's discussed in the book.

Concepts, business models, ways to make money online is what Clark Covington's book is all about. Nothing revolutionary but during this time of recession when people are looking to make ends meet, this book provides some great alternatives to making money online. Some of these don't involve much time to get started, some involve no start-up costs (most of them, really, or a very nominal amount), and can easily provide a boost in income to salaried or other jobs.

Getting to the point of being able to make a full time living online takes a long time, there's no doubt about it, but Clark's book can help you get there if you're willing to put in the time and effort.

I took notes on some of my favorite ways to make money online from home and I cannot wait to get started on them.

Within three pages of reading this guide to making money on the internet, I knew this was a great help because the authors used specific website names and concrete examples of how to make money. With the existing recession, any low cost guide is wonderful. The first sections introduced me the idea of a virtual assistant--someone who helps out with tasks for an office but who works from home and where to find these sorts of jobs. The other chapters are equally useful, providing definitions of SEO or explaining how places to sell crafts or create other online businesses -- the what and where and how to present yourself in many instances. I learned the best icon making software and suggestions for resume software and tactics. Each section was equally well written. With all the information provided inside any reader will find themselves better to work online as a freelance writer.
