September 1, 1994
The Recipe Book was designed to be used with "The Menu Book", but can be used as a stand alone recipe book. It contains over 1,000 mouth watering recipes that are portioned according to the number of residents in your facility: 10, 25, 50, 100 or 200 Residents.

The recipes are healthy -- lover in fat, sodium and calories. They are geriatrically portioned to help cut food costs. The book is categorized with durable tabs with the category printed on the tab. About the Author

Lynn E. Robbins has owned a residential care facility for 25 residents, two assisted living facilities for 35 and 45 residents respectively, a private duty nursing residence for 3, a specialized Alzheimer center for 22 and a franchise concept for retirement communities that included blueprints, all manuals, food service as well as property management and training programs.

Lynn found early on that there wasn't anything available for manuals that met her strict criteria. She spent 2 years designing menus, editing, calculating nutritional statistics with a dietician. She then wrote the recipe books with different serving sizes that coordinates with the Menu Book. The Food Service Handbook is a compilation of information to create a complete Nutritional Training Program for all food service staff.

She also designed the menu calendars to post a weeks worth of menus (three meals per day) in the dining room. Her family gets together and sings old time favorite songs. She compiled all of these songs into book form and used big print so that seniors can read them more easily.
